As part of Amdocs smart operations (Managed Services) solution sales team, the solution sales expert will lead the technical sales process (from lead to PO) and will be working closely with North America sales team as well as the Regional operation team and  the atomIQ team (the PdMs team)  in order to tailor and support the managed services sales process.

candidates from various locations across North America are welcome (no need to relocate, as this role involve working with multiple accounts accross North America)

What will your job look like?

  • Leads the managed services technical sales process to align Amdocs solutions with the customer’s technical requirements.                                                                          
  • Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge regarding the client’s business challenges, culture and environment, as well as market trends, competition and partners which may affect the client’s business.
  • Maintain deep level of knowledge on the next generation IT trends and technologies including zero touch, preemptive operations utilizing robot processing automation, machine learning, artificial intelligence, cloud based operations, DevOps implementations and supporting tools. Able to position & promote the managed services approach and design the tools customization to maximize the value to the customer.
  • Take active role in creating and maintaining technical client relationships based on the sales strategy led by the Customer Business Executives and the Sales Directors of the accounts
  • Serve as the focal point for all technical issues in the managed services sales process, and have the overall responsibility over tailoring the managed services offering to the customer needs.
  • Present business and well as technical sessions to the customer as part of the sales process focusing on Amdocs services scope and value.  Prepare tailored materials to meet the customer needs and overall sales strategy.
  • Lead the sales process by identifying opportunities as well as assisting with qualification and account planning, analyzing client needs and requirements.
  • Lead the technical sales activities of an opportunity with the help of additional resources from other groups such GSS atomIQ (PdM), operations, testing team, practices and others as required in the sales process, and act as the focal point for these other groups.
  • Participate in contract negotiations in order to ensure a winning and profitable deal.
  • Ensure that the proposed solution reflects the Amdocs value proposition and our competitive advantages.
  • Share and communicate end-to-end solutions orally and in writing to executives, business sponsors, and technical resources in clear, concise language that emphasize it’s unique value.

All you need is...

  • Technology savvy, with deep knowledge in the next generation approach and tools enabling operations automation, DevOps, Cloud operations, artificial intelligence etc.
  • A Strong communication & excellent customer facing and presentation skills
  • Independent, self-motivated
  • 5+ years working experience in post-production operation or support
  • 3+ years of proven record of successful customer facing engagements, solution definitions, business development
  • Located in North America (relocate to Dallas isn’t required)
  • University Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Advantage for this role are in sales/pre-sales/senior business analysis / senior architect in the communication industry
