What will your job look like?
- Should have Hands on Experience of Development on Cloudera Platform.
- Developing Unix Shell scripts
- Good understating of Hadoop Technologies such as Pig, Hive, HBase, HDFS, Spark, Kafka.
- Should be able to analyze the issues on Hadoop Systems.
- Design, development, and implementation of performant ETL pipelines using python API (pySpark) of Apache Spark on AWS EMR
- Managing scheduling with TWS scheduler.
- Providing Support for Upgrade of Hadoop Versions, Patching of Clusters.
- Maintain High Performance of Cluster.
- Create partnership with project stakeholders to provide technical assistance regarding important decisions
- Design and implement data engineering, ingestion, and curation functions on AWS cloud using AWS native or custom programming.
- Design and build production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within a big data architecture, using Java, Python, Scala.
- Perform detailed assessments of current state data platforms and create an appropriate transition path to AWS cloud.
All you need is...
- Experience of Hadoop Development Activities for Cloudera Platform.
- Experience of setting up continuous integration/deployment of spark jobs to EMR clusters
- Knowledge of scheduling spark applications in AWS EMR cluster.
- Understanding the differences between Hadoop MapReduce and Apache Spark
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools as Git, SVN
- Design, build and operationalize large-scale enterprise data solutions and applications using one or more AWS data and analytics services in combination with 3rd parties - Spark, EMR, DynamoDB, RedShift, Kinesis, Lambda, Glue, Snowflake.
- Has experience in any of the following AWS Athena and Glue Pyspark, EMR, DynamoDB, Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, Snowflake
- 2+ years of Experience of working on Linux/Unix System with Hadoop
- Excellent understanding with Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Pig, Kafka, Spark
- In-depth Understanding of Hadoop Architecture
- Extensive Experience of working on Yarn
- Hands on experience in Oozie, HCatalog.
- Good communication with clients/operational managers – listening and providing answers
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to gather and assimilate information
- Willing to work in shifts /extended hours
