Sales Director: Networks: We are currently seeking a passionate Sales Director with Radio Access Network (RAN) experience to take the lead role in positioning and selling Amdocs Network Products and Services, specifically OSS related, in APAC.

Overview of Position:

  • The Amdocs Network Solutions Sales Director (SD) manages the ANS OSS sales cycle in a certain territory or a certain account or specific domain
  • In that capacity, the SD exercises the business solution approach: focusing on the customer’s needs and pain points rather than what Amdocs has to offer
  • We need a person whose recent 2-3 positions were actual sales people, with proven sales track record in the NETWORK space and with an experience of selling services.
  • The SD identifies and develops opportunities until close
  • The Sales Director will be responsible for the sales process of ANS products and services in APAC, specifically OSS products.


Main Responsibilities 

  • The SD will be required to align appropriate sales opportunities to meet business and financial objectives and will be expected to know our customers business needs. Industry experience is essential.
  • We need candidates who know how to travel every week, who have real relationship with CSPs in the region, who understand how to sell services and who understand how to create a sale from scratch, not manage.

Must Have (High Level)

  • Bachelor’s Degree/ MA in business/ marketing or related fields 
  • Sales director with at least 7-10 years of experience in the Australian Telecom market.

  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets over the recent years.
  • Highly self-motivated individual who knows to work under pressure and deliver sales targets
  • Self learner
  • Contacts within existing operators, with emphasis on Telstra and Optus.
  • Strong technical background
  • Experience selling products and services to the RAN, core and transport teams, as well as understanding of NFV and OSS landscape in operators.
  • Main focus is Australia, but need to have willingness to travel 
  • Experience in working in big, complex and highly matrixed organizations
