Networking & Security team, part of Amdocs Information Technology (IT) department, design, manage and operate around 30 different cutting-edge technologies globally in different complex and challenging environments in Amdocs internal corporate network and in public clouds such as AWS, Azure and Google.
What will your job look like?
- Team player within a networking & Security group that hold technical responsibilities for the operation and administration of the company internal network: Internet, LAN, WAN, Cloud environments and information security systems
- Design, plan , manage and operate (hands-on) cutting edge technologies
- Manage local and global projects end to end, working with different teams, getting familiar with existing and new technologies and ways of implementing solutions.
- Take active part in application and infrastructure architecture and deployments in cloud environments -- including public cloud, private cloud and hybrid cloud.
- Preform ongoing support tasks related to Networking & security areas and supporting and mentoring
All you need is...
• 7+ years of Hands-on experience in both Networking and Security areas and in solutions architecture and systems engineering, proven experience with cloud computing and architectures.
• Responsible for designing holistic technical architecture solutions with appropriate HW/SW specifications (i.e. size) in alignment with customer requirements, solution specifications and cost constraints.
• Well versed in DevOps, and continuous delivery/continuous deployment within a large-scale organization – advantage!
• Experience deployment on Private and Public clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and comfortable in a culturally diverse, global working organization.
• Proven and relevant working experience in a busy, client focused and Matrix structured company.
• Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Highly independent problem-solving skills with the ability to assume leadership of resolution activities.
• Scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc.)
• Understanding and ability to deploy technologies like SDN technologies (ACI, NSX, SDWAN, SDA), Advanced Firewall Configuration ,HA and diagnostic commands , Advanced F5 BigIP LTM/GTM/LC/WAF troubleshooting knowledge, Cisco Different Cisco routers and switches
• Detailed understanding and troubleshooting experience with EIGRP, BGP4, OSPF and Static Routing, Layer 2 STP, CED, VSS, VPC, VDC.
• Understanding and troubleshooting experience with DNS, Active Directory, Radius, ACS/ClearPass, Cisco ISE, IPsec & SSL VPN technology
• Advanced experience and administering Linux systems - advantage
• Understanding of routing on Windows, Solaris, Linux and/or HPUX
• Helpful training or certifications would include: CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, CCVP, CISSP, PMP and others.
• Maintains a broad knowledge of current and emerging state of the art network technologies for problem resolution and project planning.
