Leads the technical sales process to align Amdocs solutions with the customer’s technical and business requirements.

What will your job look like?

  • Manage/drive the entire process from opportunity qualification, through RFx, into a win
  • Work closely with the sales team to create, qualify, and refine the opportunity plan
  • Identify the proposal deliverables, and define items that require special approval or unique knowledge
  • Negotiate to ensure competitive cost structure. Push back and challenge estimates, man months, cost of sale
  • Coordinate and support the preparation of all sales materials, including estimations, documentation, and executive summary, to aid in the sales pursuit process
  • Coordinate and facilitate sales activities including proof of concept, demo, customer workshop
  • Function as the technical guru and will have the opportunity to influence on the solutions we provide to our top customers

All you need is...

  • College degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
  • Experience in the communications/ telecom industry
  • Experience in data management and or data security solutions architecture or sales engineering
  • Proven experience in customer requirements analysis, project planning, solution design, software design, development, and deployment.
  • Experience in communication and presentations at the executive levels, as this role involves working with industry leading companies.
  • Proven experience in presale/sales engineering for Telco and/or cable operators is required
