In one sentence

Responsible from pre-sales to post-production; for planning, designing, and integrating technical architecture and engineering solutions in alignment with customer requirements, solution specifications and cost constraints

What will your job look like?

  • Responsible for responding to RFx per for presales stages
    • Analyzing and designing effective and clear technical solutions for infrastructure for enterprise applications, providing high-level and/or detailed designs as required
    • Creating bill of material for the proposed architecture for P&L
    • Applying cost-effective availability design guidelines within the technical solution to meet business requirements
  • Responsible for technical evolution of post-sales accounts
    • Owning and supporting the technical architecture of existing accounts
    • Performing capacity and implementation design planning for all Data Centre and Cloud technical components (e.g., servers, storage, network, cloud services) as per project evolution.
    • Analyzing performance and SLA needs and recommending performance, architecture and capacity enhancements
    • Updating business sizing models based on real production numbers
    • Approving relevant changes to deployment architecture
    • Migration to public cloud
  • Investigating new infrastructure technologies to meet business requirements and evolving market trends
  • Interacting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders: Sales leads, customer IT & business managers, Amdocs customer-facing managers (CBEs), Program managers, Service Partners, R&D managers, procurement, IT and vendors

All you need is...

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field AND 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Broad understanding of the relevant Telco domain and BSS/OSS systems such as Invoicing, Charging, Ordering and Customer Relation Management
  • Knowledge and Experience with many technologies, application engineering and architectural requirements
    • High Availability, scalability, load balancing, and geo-redundancy and how to design and explain complex solutions
    • Aware and involved in technologies and market trends
    • Analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating complex system design and architecture specifications, data models and diagrams in the configuration and integration of systems
  • Experience with Public Cloud services and solution architectures in AWS, GCP and Azure (Preferred Certified Cloud Architect)
  • Experience with Datacenter requirements, Compute, Network, Storage, and backups 
  • Experience with Software Defined Datacenter solutions 
  • Experience with production performance/capacity analysis
  • Customer-facing experience
  • Background in SW development - advantage
